Alright World This Is Not The SuperBowl

Yesterday Bill Cosby was sentenced to 3 – 10 years in prison and has to be listed as a violent sex offender when he gets out. That’s all well and good for those that he raped and sexually assaulted, they got closure on their demon and he is now incarcerated. He will be plastered over the television for the next few weeks taking the last bit of identity that he added to the world until he is remembered as a rapist.

He was totally wrong for the actions that he performed against his victims. In a different breath though he was one of the first people that fought for black images that matched what we look like and got that image on TV. He was for educating blacks and ensuring that they knew where they came from and wanted them to keep an eye on the goals that they set and attian them. His legacy will be forever tarnished but I for one will remember his entire body of work not just the vicious rapist that we have learned him to be. His trial is over and he is locked up, let us all remember that there are many others still out there free to rape and sexually assualt whoever they deem prey for them.

Who’s up next? Harvey Weinstein, Bill O’Reilly, Kevin Spacey, Steven Segal, Robert Kelly, Junot Diaz. All of these men are on the radar with a host of others. I don’t want everyone to forget all the others out there still free, this is not the SuperBowl, The Championship or any other monicker that can be placed on it. I can tell you what it really is; it is the beginning of a long road that must end in women being valued and respected. It would be great to see equality among the sexes it can’t happen if there are not changes in how we all think. There must be a change in the love we give to one another, the respect, there is no ownership of a woman or her dreams. The whole system has to change in order for our women to be safe from male dominated systems. It could have been one of our wives or daughters that were involved in one of theses situations. Some of you guys probably are going through something similar.

Prayer and faith along with the belief in our maker; let’s start there and then let common sense be the finisher of the dream. We all have talents that can be lent to dream and it won’t get fixed without all of us pulling together to create solutions.

Are There Problems with Ethical Consistencies in Enterprises

In large companies, there will always be the questions that we ask ourselves. Should we do this? When this question is posed normally there are work schedules that are in progress that get surpassed. The question is asked by the team but because there isn’t any oversight while the issue is being dealt with something that we thought would help the situation later ethically hurt the entire organization. This is why there are the ethical workshops that pull intellectual creators into them. This is with a hope to cause and give pause to those of that create mediums to aid in the digestion of data. Non-Technical documentation would aid in an oversite committee to understand where there could have been a gap in understanding. We as the creators just want to resolve the problem that we are presented with. Where we need the help is making sure that we document our findings well enough that we could better construct a fix that would fit the regulatory compliances. ethics_image

Sure they could it in my current company it is happening as I am typing this response to this discussion question. Some things fall between the cracks but with a committee in place and the proper documentation created it gives a sense of a pause for us. At least we get to take a second look at what is needed to resolve the anomaly with the executive team so that they know it is on the radar. In a large enterprise, they had better have some ethics training available. An organization is only as strong as its weakest individual, group, training course, etc… We as people are flawed and sometimes ruthless. It is up to the company to ensure that everyone that is employed by them that they have the ethics rules and complacency in place so that they at least know where the organization stands when it comes to how they operate and what is expected by each employee. The employee themselves have to want to do the right things for themselves and the company for ethical reasoning to be favored and handled correctly. Large enterprises can’t afford to leave risks and gaps of this nature left open. It would certainly end them.

WHY GOOGLE IS THE PERFECT TARGET FOR TRUMP

From Wired Magazine –

A FULL HOUR before the sun rose in Washington, DC, Tuesday, President Donald Trump fired off a pair of tweets claiming that Google had “rigged” search results against conservatives. Like so many Trump grievances, the argument seems steeped less in fact than in a roiling stew of personal animus. But in Google News, the latest subject of his ire, Trump may have found the perfect target.

In Trump’s tweets—which he later deleted, then tweeted again, with no substantive changes—you can see the outlines of an attack that can’t be easily fact-checked or dismissed. Charges of bias against Google will stick, because no algorithm is truly neutral. And while Trump’s logic is specious, effectively countering it would require acceptance among his base that mainstream news sources like The New York Times are not, actually, the enemy of the people.

In truth, there’s a lot going on with these two tweets. So much so that it’s helpful to break down what Trump’s claiming, and why, and what he plans to do about it, sentence by sentence:

Google search results for ‘Trump News’ shows only the viewing/reporting of Fake News Media.

Here, Trump is including not just The New York Times, CNN, and familiar targets under the “Fake News Media” umbrella, but every major media outlet other than The Wall Street Journal and The Economist. We know this because his entire argument appears to be based on this recent story in PJ Media, which claims outrageous bias in Google News results against conservative sites, yet counts everything from Reuters and Bloomberg to the Columbia Journalism Review as left-leaning. (Trump not only cites a specific statistic from the PJ media piece, suggesting strongly that’s his source, but also famously doesn’t use a computer. Googling “Trump News” is not a lived experience for him.)

In a statement, Google rejected Trump’s premise: “Search is not used to set a political agenda and we don’t bias our results toward any political ideology. Every year, we issue hundreds of improvements to our algorithms to ensure they surface high-quality content in response to users’ queries. We continually work to improve Google Search and we never rank search results to manipulate political sentiment.”

Google News, if anything, appears to be one of the few places left online that hasn’t devolved into microtargeted filter bubbles. In a study published just last month in Computers in Human Behavior, researchers Seth Lewis and Efrat Nechushtai found that Google News recommendations were in fact largely homogeneous, with liberals and conservatives being shown the same links regardless of ideology. In addition, the top five results for news searches came overwhelmingly from a handful of mainstream sources: The New York Times, CNN, Politico, and The Washington Post.

“Yes, Google News is dominated by mainstream news,” says Lewis, who focuses on emerging media at the University of Oregon. “If you consider mainstream news to be left-leaning, you will have concerns about the results you get from Google News. There’s no question about that.”

It’s that “if” that Trump is leaning on. If you consider everything left of The Daily Caller biased, you’re going to find bias everywhere you look.

In other words, they have it RIGGED, for me & others, so that almost all stories & news is BAD.

Google doesn’t “rig” its algorithm against conservatives, or against Trump, at least not in the way that he means here. Whether the stories and news it surfaces are “bad” depends on what happened in the world—like, say, close associates pleading guilty to or being convicted of federal crimes—right before you search. A very simple case in point: If you type “Trump” or “Trump news” right now into Google News, the top results all center around this very tirade. The fourth result in a recent search in an incognito window, which doesn’t factor in search history, came from the reliably conservative Fox News.

Is Google News rigged, though? Almost certainly not, but you’d be hard-pressed to prove it. That’s because Google search, like Facebook’s News Feed and other platforms, derives its power from an algorithm for which no one outside of the company has any specific insight.

“The ways in which right-wing organizations have been able to manipulate Google and Facebook have actually worked in Donald Trump’s favor.”

SAFIYA NOBLE, USC

“Black box algorithms may be kept secret for business and intellectual property reasons, but they’re vulnerable to conspiracy theories,” says Brendan Nyhan, a political scientist at the University of Michigan. “There’s no way to know what the algorithm is doing for someone outside of Google or Facebook, or whatever tech company you’re talking about. And in some deeper, fundamental way, some of the machine-learning algorithms, even the people working on them don’t fully understand what they’re doing.”

That has very real stakes; a 2015 study showed that the ordering of positive and negative stories in Google search rankings could hold real sway over how people vote. Keeping algorithms closely held does have the benefit of making Google’s systems harder to game, but it also gives Trump a huge amount of runway to make allegations that aren’t easily disproven.

Fake CNN is prominent.

True enough, at least the prominence part. Lewis and Nechushtai found that CNN occupied a slot in the top five rankings for news stories on Google 12 percent of the time. Only The New York Times had more, hitting 22 percent. But relying on mainstream news outlets rather than the fringes has its own societal benefit.

“The argument—that it’s bad that Google leads people to find democratic news organization—is dangerous. What we want is for people to have access to common understandings about what’s happening in the world, and investigative journalism that’s vetted and in many ways credible,” says Safiya Noble, professor at the University of Southern California and author of Algorithms of Oppression: How Search Engines Reinforce Racism. “We certainly want people to have access to multiple news outlets, and search engines often do lead us to multiple voices. It’s just the more powerful voices are often on the first page.”

Republican/Conservative & Fair Media is shut out.

Again, it depends on how you define the terms. But this sentence features at least two levels of absurdity.

“The conceptual problem with Trump’s tweets is the idea that an algorithm is only fair if it returns an equally balanced number of stories favoring one side versus the other,” says Nyhan. “Take that to its logical extreme: Imagine if you searched for ‘does gravity exist,’ and Google had to return half of the search results saying ‘actually it doesn’t.’ It’s a preposterous notion, but that’s the implication of the president’s claim here.”

The idea that Google and other platforms have shut out conservative voices is also broadly incorrect. “What we have found over and over again, for a long time, is that the most conservative and racist and misogynist voices are deeply skilled in optimizing content, and have had more than their fair share of control and representation in search. In fact, it was that phenomenon that led to President Trump getting elected,” adds Noble. “The ways in which right-wing organizations have been able to manipulate Google and Facebook have actually worked in Donald Trump’s favor.”

Illegal?

Algorithms can indeed be found to be in violation of the law, according to Salome Viljoen, a privacy fellow at Harvard University’s Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society. But that’s not what’s happening here. If Google’s algorithms did in some way infringe on free speech, that would only be legally problematic if Google were the US government. “You have no constitutionally protected free-speech right on Google. It’s a private platform,” says Viljoen.

Similarly, Google would be in legal trouble if its search algorithm were discriminating against a constitutionally protected class, but the 14th Amendment does not cover political conservatives. Lastly, algorithmic bias could be illegal if it somehow caused someone to, say, be turned down for a loan application, notes Viljoen. But since with news results there’s no information being sold to third parties—for example, banks, to continue the hypothetical—that concern doesn’t apply.

So, to answer Trump’s question in one word: No.

96% of results on “Trump News” are from National Left-Wing Media, very dangerous.

See above. The 96 percent number comes from the PJ Media story, which defines “National Left-Wing Media” as anything mainstream. Yet a study following the 2016 election actually found the candidate who most benefited from mainstream media bias was Trump, since coverage of Hillary Clinton was found to be overwhelmingly negative, and mainstream outlets paid comparatively little attention to Bernie Sanders.

Google & others are suppressing voices of Conservatives and hiding information and news that is good.

This is a new spin on the argument that Twitter was biased against conservatives because it banned several accountsfor abusive behavior. It’s the behavior part that matters. Or in this case, it’s the thousands of signals that Google uses to determine which sites rise to the top of the rankings.

“When it comes to a regular Google search, people still might not realize what that represents,” says Lewis. “There’s preferential attachment for sites that have been around a long time. Sites that have more incoming links are seen as having higher authority. There are certain terms over time where you develop that Google juice, that gives you more salience in the rankings. The same factors that go into Google search go into Google News.”

They are controlling what we can & cannot see.

It’s true! Google does control what people see, in a way that deeply impacts society—especially marginalized voices. “Google search results work in favor of people in power, quite frankly,” says Noble. “What you are more likely to see are vulnerable communities, racial and ethnic minorities, women and girls, and so forth, who are often much less likely to have influence over the algorithm or over search-engine optimization strategies and so forth in a major search engine like Google.”

By appropriating this argument to his own ends, Trump also shifts attention from the very real conversations that should happen around algorithms, corporate responsibility, and representation.

“There are very many real concerns about the influence these companies wield. What’s disappointing about Trump’s argument is that it forces people who want to defend freedom of the press into a defense of the platforms, which deserve a lot of scrutiny. They do exert a disproportionate influence over the information people see,” says Nyhan. “The danger, though, is that they will be bullied into political submission” by Trump and other aggrieved conservatives.

That could take troubling forms; look no further than Facebook cowing to conservative pressure and abandoning oversight of Trending Topics, which let unvetted stories run rampant on the platform leading up to the 2016 election. Google News today shows everyone the same stories, projecting a ground-level truth. The alternative: deeply entrenched echo chambers, the kind that have turned so much of the internet toxic.

This is a very serious situation-will be addressed!

It’s not clear what sort of regulation Trump has in mind here. White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow said Tuesday that the administration was “taking a look” at the possibility—but even the threat has serious implications.

“We should take seriously when political leaders threaten speech and media coverage they don’t like,” says UMich’s Nyhan. “We should worry about not just formal mechanisms of power but informal ones, political leaders bullying companies into their skewing search results or their coverage because of the threat that they’ll be attacked by political leaders, or subject to regulation or other types of scrutiny.”

Facebook failed that test in 2016. Now it’s Google’s turn. But with its algorithm locked in a black box, and an opponent who views any media left of Breitbart with suspicion, it’s going to be an unwinnable fight.

‘I can think of nothing more American’: Beto O’Rourke responds to question on NFL protests

I saw this on facebook.com in my feed yesterday and thought that I had to share this on my site for me personally. This candidate spoke out on a subject that others are still and silent on. This is the type of person we should want in our government speaking for us. The old guards need to be moved out and progressive thinkers that have everyone’s interest in mind moved in.

I thought he answered the question perfectly.

Violence is a misdirected tool against unarmed people

Violence happens all the time; too much even. To me violence seems to be a tool used to strike fear and to oppress. It has been used throughout time to do just that.

There are a lot of us dying out in the world at the hands of the people that are supposed to protect us. Whether it is fear or lack of training; whatever the reason it is happening. Black, Latino, White, we are all the same all that separates us is our experiences. Authority figures that are not properly trained or are not of a respectable class should not be on the street policing everyone else. They should not be allowed to join the forces that are supposed to protect everyone. Those are there should be removed privately; if they do not want to be removed then they should have a trial that shows how wrong they are. Removed from their post so that others may live. Life is too precious for those us trying to live correctly to be snatched from the earth at the hands of such a person.

Cavaliers capture History for the city of Cleveland

The NBA finals were history making and a little of fairy tale. There were villains on both teams and darlings on both teams you had Draymond and his antics along with what Steph and the Warriors thought they were fighting the “Officials”. Tristan Thompson and Kyrie Irving did their jobs very well and at a high level too. It was the Warriors series to lose and lose they did, they made history all season long even in loss they made history. They were the first team ever in the history of the NBA to lose a finals series with a 3-1 lead on their opponent. The series itself was not that great though the way the game is played today is a little faster but more calls to get the offensive players loose to be able to score. Because that is what fans want to see is a high score, or so that’s what many of the spin-off shows sponsored by the league says anyway. The play was well a little more restrictive to me being a defensive minded player myself. That is why us older guys are not out there now. A lot of them are in a coaches’ role or some type of supporting role that gives the younger generation some toughness.

Hats go off to the Cavaliers for being able to pull something like this off. Coming from a 3-1 deficit against the team that won 73 games and only lost 9.

The Warriors though they have a tough summer to get through this year, to know that you had a team down 3-1 one and couldn’t finish them is really confidence drainer, even if you did win 73 games in the regular season. This was the time to show that you are the team to beat and rest on your regular season reputation. Everybody who has played basketball at any level knows that you have to take the wins no one gives them to you. They didn’t take what they wanted, Steph shot jump shots he has the same ball control as Kyrie but he didn’t use it. He could have gotten in the lane just as Kyrie did but he didn’t. When in the final series of the season all the injuries and everything go out the window. I know the organizations are worried about their stars but they also want that championship if their star can get it to them. The Warriors stars could have given their city another championship. I think they bailed on the hard work that it was going to take to get over the hump called the Cavaliers. It was almost apparent that as the Warriors got even the slightest lead in any of the games after the first two they were going to coast. I don’t think that was Coach Steve Kerr’s thoughts but the players other than Green yeah. Klay is too talented a player as well as Steph, the others in Igoudala, Barnes, Livingston, Barbosa all of these guys disappeared after the first two games. How can that be after the chemistry that was built all season long of playing together and getting other teams to play your way. They did push the tempo enough in games to get out in transition and make the Cavaliers chase them as they had made teams do all season long. This was not the team that everyone watched all season. I will not bail them out either this is their job to play at a high level for an entire season not just for the regular season. What a miserable end to a season that saw you guys make history.

Cleveland congratulations at making history LeBron made everyone believe that they had the magic ticket and they did against the behemoth machine that had been destroying every team that stepped in front of them all season long including themselves. The Warriors had a system but they bought into the Cavaliers system trying to play as they do but without the length. The Cavaliers capitalized on every mistake the Warriors made as they should have. I have to say as many others are probably saying this morning that I actually thought the Warriors were going to win the series. I really did but the Cavaliers proved they wanted it more than the Warriors did. LeBron and the Cavaliers knew all too well what the sting of losing felt like and they wanted no part of that again, like he said “This is finals whatever I have to do and however it has to be done, I don’t care” We won. You can’t say it better than that. Celebrate Cavaliers everyone will be chasing you next year. Every game in your arena will be like a playoff game it will feel great enjoy it guys.

Explanations of the implications of The New HB2 Law

The new law is a force that has to be reckoned with. Reading over a note from my company’s CEO that states that it added discrimination instead of deleting it sounds awfully wrong. Add on the fact that what is being publicized is about the use of restrooms by different sexed individuals just creates noise to the real issue at here. It is another ploy to keep you from thinking about the issues and worrying about the noise. The noise in this case is not as important as what is not being publicized. We have to get this out into the view of everyone.

This bill, which recently became law, declares that state law overrides all local ordinances concerning wages, employment and public accommodations. Under HB2, state law now prevents local communities from passing their own laws prohibiting discrimination against any group that is not named in the state law. North Carolina cities may not pass any law prohibiting discrimination based on, for example, sexual orientation, in public accommodations, employment or pay. Further, HB2 stipulates that people must use multiple occupancy restrooms consistent with the sex specified on their birth certificate, regardless of the gender with which they identify.

The big one here is the restrictions it puts on employment or pay in NC. When it comes to those things bathrooms are the least of my worries I am not sure about the rest of NC though. Looking at some of the NEWS footage that has been put on television people are more outraged about the bathroom issue than with how it can affect their employment rights as individuals or even their pay. NEWS outlets are there to report the news they do not however break down the laws that could be of importance to you. It is up to you to perform that for yourself. If you are able to understand what is written to give the information away freely and update the masses. So that they can know as well. I have researched it and I now understand it and I have the words that helped me understand it listed below in this blog post for you to see for yourself. I looked through several media outlets and the wording was different but the same content was implied. I chose the easier to read one here.

Law professor Brian Clarke had this to say:

Many have reached out to WBTV for a deeper explanation of what the law means.

“HB2 affects everyone,” said law professor Brian Clarke. Clark said if you face discrimination at work, you can no longer go straight to the courthouse and sue your employer.

“Trying to put it in normal human terms rather than in civil procedure terms – it’s much easier to file a case in state court,” Clarke said.

HB2 delivered on what state lawmakers promised.

“It creates a state-wide non-discrimination ordinance and public accommodations which we’ve never had before, which is a perfectly good thing to do,” Clarke said. “But it, of course, limits the protection categories to race, age, national origin, religion, color and biological sex to avoid any potential expansion of that in the courts.”. He goes on to say that the law goes beyond the stated goals. “Then it deals with employment, so it deals with things that are utterly unrelated to LGBT rights, to bathroom usage, to public accommodations. And it deals specifically and directly with employment,” Clarke said.

The law addresses the minimum wage, and does not allow any local government to set a minimum wage.

“The legislature took that power expressly away, so forbade any local government from raising the minimum wage beyond what federal and state law require,” Clarke said.

Clarke teaches employment law at the Charlotte School of Law after being an employment lawyer for 11 years. He says one sentence in the law was very big.

The law states, “This Article does not create, and shall not be construed to create or support, a statutory or common law private right of action, and no person may bring any civil action based on the public policy expressed herein.”

“In a very hidden way, it eliminated the ability for employees in North Carolina to file claims under state law for employment discrimination on the basis of race, sex, national origin, color and age,” Clarke said, “And that’s a right that North Carolina employees have had since 1982… and it’s gone.”

Clarke said North Carolina is now only one of two states that don’t provide these employment protections.

“Mississippi has never had a state anti-discrimination law. We had one and had one since 1977, but now we don’t anymore. The words are still in the statute book but there’s no way to enforce them,” Clarke said.

Proponents of the law point to the federal protections, but Clarke says the remedy under federal and the old state law were not the same.

“Under federal law you have 180 days to go to the EOCC [Equal Employment Opportunity Commission]. Under North Carolina law, as it existed before HB2, if you were fired based on discrimination you had three years to file that claim. You didn’t have to go to any government agency you just went and filed your claim at the courthouse,” Clarke said.

The old state law also allowed an employee to file within three years versus the federal law that state within 180 days. Also, under the federal law, Clarke explained there are caps on damages up to $300,000. The state law had no cap.

“I was a management side employment lawyer for more than a decade, and I can’t see the ‘why,'” Clarke said.

A couple of weeks ago, Representative Dan Bishop – who drafted the law – said the federal system still protects people. Governor McCrory has also said HB2 does not take away any rights.

Clarke disagrees. He told his students that the lawsuit the LGBT community has filed could only allow the courts to overturn the parts of HB2 dealing with those rights.

“Even if that lawsuit is successful, the rights taken away on the employment side of things are not going to be affected,” Clarke said. “Those are the law unless they are specifically repealed.”

North Carolina has even been poked fun at because of this law which makes the slap that was given to us by this law even greater. Comedian Trevor Noah had these comments and more to say.The Daily Show with Trevor NoahGet More: The Daily Show Full Episodes,The Daily Show on Facebook,The Daily Show Video Archive

I can’t see this law being a success. The rights being taken away on the employment side alone warrant it being quashed and re-written to properly reflect clear changes that have to do with the LGBT community only. Leave the other pieces of legislature out of this. These things should be separate and not lumped together but as I said the LGBT portion of the law was just white noise. The other was just supposed to slip in un-noticed. NC this is the real reason companies are not coming to NC not because of a bathroom law but because of discrimination and employment laws that are within this law as well. I hope we wake up and get a repeal for this law. This is crazy.

Kareem Abdul Jabbar on Donald Trump

Donald Trump the man has had numerous failings in America and has come back from those same failings like a mythical Phoenix. I do not believe that he has the ability to help America as a leader or as a whole. His ideals are very business oriented and not very explicit on world views either. To many of that has seen the blurbs of him on the television, we are mostly caught off guard to what he says and how he aligns himself with the world. He has no filter, he has no real political background, he has no worldly morality. His worldly morality if he had any would not have any thought of race or segregation at all. This man speaks of very violent things as if he is in the locker room with his buddies after a round of golf; but he says them publicly and on the news. Then after he has stated these obscene words and phrases, and has had a chance to see what he looks like, then wants to try to state that we who have seen it saw it wrong that we have taken his words out of context; it was not what he meant. Donald Trump is a real estate mogul, who at this late stage thinks he can help America as he has helped himself. Donald it doesn’t work that way what worked for you will not work for America. There are too many variables involved, to many different nationalities to contend with, to many different religions to deal with. Dealing with all that and then some is what a president deals with in the first 10 minutes of his day. You couldn’t even handle the questions and comments of a FOX analyst. You should really look at why you are running and if it is aligned with truly helping America or just Donald Trump. The policies and platforms are important for the American people to know what you stand for. Last time I heard you were still talking border patrol and keeping people out of America. Mr. Trump it would be great if you had a plan and some political knowledge. It would show clearly when interacting with the media, supporters, and protesters of your campaign.

Kareem Abdul Jabbar had a few this to say on the matter as well. I found this posted video on the Huffington Post Politics site. In it Mr. Jabbar speaks about Mr. Trump and his wanting to close Muslim Masques and ban Muslims particularly. Take a listen please?

http://www.cnn.com/video/data/2.0/video/tv/2016/02/05/exp-gps-abdul-jabbar-sot-trump.cnn.html

This is not a candidate for America. This is a candidate for himself. Haven’t we had enough of this type of person in the White House. We stood for Change let’s continue to do so. Look to go forward not fall backwards. We all have a responsibility to this country just as Mr. trump does. With this type of person in the White House we will all have lost. If he gets the nod it is our own fault, we will have no one to blame but ourselves. When we ride our highways; we see on each of the signs on our great highways. “Let’s Keep America Beautiful” people. We must vote as a nation and ensure that we continue to move forward as one people. Mr. Trump and others like him want to keep the nation divided. Let’s not allow that. Mr. Jabbar echo’s what a lot of other people think.

The NEWS – Things are horrible

On the news if you watch it makes the world look so negative. There all of these deaths and radical events happening around us. That are chronicled by the media that does not have the best interest of the people involved. If you watch the NEWS of television in general everything is made out of skew. Unreal like; there are no actual people on television. The deaths that are televised seem to come from an action movie but are real life. Somewhere actual people are trying to bring the movies to the streets and the media empires are allowing them to do so.

What I am afraid of is that they are letting this pressure build to allow an actual death to happen on television. Every morning or over in the night there is someone reporting multiple deaths. The person is captured by our law enforcement groups only to have them be placed on the shelf. In other countries if they knew you did it or even had good reason to believe that you did it. You can bet your punishment will be swift and just. Here we kill your character because your credit and reputation are what makes you in America. We should have a more deliberate approach where we try to save the individuals that are abiding the rules and living correctly. America don’t let the few that are stepping out of character herd the rest of into a frenzy.

There are several instances lately where all races have had cause to be upset at some point. My point is that if you look hard enough you can find problems, that’s easy to do. What is hard is looking hard enough to find the good in everyone else. Media outlets seem to not care about the good things that happen as much as it seems they enjoy glamorizing the bad. Here there now has been a deliberate separation of church and state governmentally. In reality I think the separation has happened across the world and our country.

I remember the pledge of allegiance in school to start class now that is wrong. If everyone has their own deity how about we just have a silent prayer then? There is a lot wrong with today and there aren’t many of us trying to fix today, tomorrow or the next day. The ones coming behind us are going to pay dearly because of our need for greed.
